The first Pagani I’ve ever seen, and it was a Zonda - my favorite. It was too good to be true. The attention to detail/build quality that’s apparent when you see one up close helps explain the price.

A Spyker!! Nuts. Hadn’t seen one of these either but now that I have, I think the quilted leather is the best part.

The distinctive audi 4.2 intake runners looked great under the plexiglass. But it was also really strange to see them there.

I had actually seen one before, at the Boston auto show when these were new. I was still a kid at that point, so I reached over the rope and poked it so I could say I’ve touched an Enzo. It was cool to see one as a young adult with 10 more years of car nuttery behind me. Needless to say, I appreciated it more this time. Didn’t poke it though.

I spent even more time with this car than I did with the pagani. New cars can be cool but vintage stuff will always be my favorite. I can’t really express what it was like for me to see a Grifo. It was like some kind of car nerd religious experience. This is the gorgeous version; it has the small block chevy. The big block cars have a massive rectangle cut out of the hood and then raised a couple inches to accommodate the motor. Yikes. Anyway I took pictures of every inch of this thing and orbited it like a satellite for the entire show, coming back every so often to gawk some more.

Great pics. I can’t wait to go home to Massachusetts and see rare pieces like these. As much as I love them, I’m getting sick of seeing Chevelles and Chargers at the carshows here in Kansas.

That steering wheel in the Spyker looks so awkwardly dated.

Also saw my first Grifo last spring (small block car). It was one of the most glorious cars I’ve ever seen, so easy to stare at it. I probably went back to the business it was at about 5 times that month until it got cycled out of their collection.

If I could see a Spyker or a Pagani at a show it would make my life. I saw a Koenigsegg once, that was a big one.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an Enzo or LaFerrari...or F50. Saw an F40 once...

That's pretty much where I'm at. I saw a Koenigsegg at the NY auto show last year, but otherwise the Carrera GT is the only hyper car I've seen on the street. I'm still bitter I missed the LaFerarri at the last cars and coffee.

I’d love to see a CGT! I’m not sure I’d go so far as to call it a hypercar though ;)

You’re lucky you live in America! The biggest reason I’m not seeing these cars is they aren’t in the country. Cars like Koenigsegg spend a lot of effort specifically targeting Americans and American regulations, so the cars tend to end up there. Not so for Australia. The ‘egg we had was probably the only one in the country.

Keep an eye out for where Go Pro has shows, they have a Pagani they drag around, it’s awesome.

It was amazing how many people were there for Tutto Italiano, it absolutely dwarfs the amount of people that were there for the Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury event. I was ecstatic when I saw that Zonda, I would have never expected to see one in the US outside of Monterey, as many Zonda owners seemingly import their car for Car Week. The owner seemed pretty cool, as he was talking to some people in the crowd and let some people sit in the driver’s seat.

Isn’t lhd a problem too? The P1, 918 and La Ferrari are all lhd only.

I wanted to go to that show, but I was working. My friend went and he said it was fantastic.

That’s awesome though I’m still waiting to see a Koenigsegg, that will be amazing. If it happens...

Thx! My potato s7 edge does a pretty good job in the right light. So much so that I’ve been too lazy to bring an actual camera to most shows. And yeah it’s incredible to see what comes out for a day at these Larz Anderson events, I’d be very surprised to see cars like these in the midwest

Yeah it was absolutely nuts. I had to park a good 3/4 of a mile away in a street that was still packed with enthusiast cars. And yep I think I saw the owner, what a lucky dude. I was at the ford/lincoln/mercury this past sunday too - that show was reaaallly small , one of the smallest I’ve seen this summer. That original paint/int thirties ford coupe was awesome though.

Yep and it has no airbag, because lax european regulations. IDK how he got that past customs... show and display permit maybe

Yes it was incredible. I couldn’t believe how many cars there were/the caliber of cars that showed up

Oh seriously? Yes, that would be a problem. We have many LHD cars over here, but they’re all old American cars. And by that I mean, they’re all Mustangs. I don’t think newer LHD cars are allowed.

Apparently the only big RHD markets are Australia and the UK. Even Japan doesn’t count apparently, though all their cars are RHD. Not sure what that’s about.

Damn you America!
